DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://odoo.bcstudies.org/event/dorodango-workshop-73
">Dorodango Workshop</a>\nAn Sunday afternoon to create together There is
a quiet satisfaction in working directly with raw earth. Dorodango is the
practice of taking a simple handful of soil and water\, and slowly shaping
it into a dense\, gleaming sphere. It requires no special tools\, only ti
me\, the warmth of your hands\, and careful attention as the material slow
ly changes from loose dirt into a polished\, reflective object. Because th
e earth needs time to set and be polished\, the afternoon unfolds at a nat
urally slow pace. This rhythm gives everyone plenty of room to settle in\,
talk\, and share a bites while working. It is a very tactile\, grounded w
ay to spend a few hours alongside others. At the end of the session\, your
finished sphere goes home with you. The afternoon takes place at Noordoue
st. As a true neighborhood bar\, it is a space designed for gathering. The
interior itself is deeply tied to what we will be making: designed by KUL
euven architecture students\, the walls are finished with raw earth plaste
rs and paints. It provides a warm\, fitting environment to get our hands d
irty. Food and materials included\, drinks can be ordered directly at the
 bar throughout the afternoon.
